Standardized CPUE of Pacific saury (Cololabis saira) caught by the Japanese stick-held dip net fishery up to 2022
We updated the standardized catch-per-unit-effort (CPUE) of Pacific saury caught by the Japanese stick-held dip net fishery up to 2022 for the stock assessment conducted by NPFC. CPUE was standardized by a generalized linear model (GLM) incorporating explanatory variables such as year, month, fishing area, vessel size, and sea surface temperature. The standardized CPUE in 2022 decreased to the lowest since 1994.
